Association of Quartet Champions Show Announced
The Sunshine District Association of Quartet Champions (SDAQC) is proud to announce that their inaugural show will be held on Friday night, September 23 at the Fall District Convention immediately following the quartet prelims semi-finals. The one hour show will feature the SDAQC chorus under the direction of Tony DeRosa, and cameo appearances by past District champs. So far, the show consists of One Shot Deal, Backbeat, Rounders, Wise Guys as well as our current champs, The PURSUIT.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that our headliners will be the fabulous Suntones… 50 years after their winning of the International Quartet Championship. Without question, the Tones are the most famous quartet to ever come from the Sunshine District, and we’re thrilled they have agreed to perform for our first SDAQC show!
There will be NO additional charge for this show! It will be included with the convention all events registration or a Friday night individual event ticket. The Fall convention is once again to be held at the Orlando Marriott Airport. Don’t miss this one!
