Sunshine District Spring Convention 2026 was the largest contest event that we’ve held since COVID. TWENTY-FIVE Quartets participated, with 10 making it to the Finals.
Tribute won the Quartet contest with a score of 1996 points ( 83.2 avg)
In The Genes won second place in the Quartet contest with a score of 1921 points (80.0 avg)
High and Tight took third place with a score of 1809 points (75.4 avg)
TWELVE Choruses participated, plus the Platoon Chorus mic testers. This was a CLOSE one, with only 13 points separating first and fourth places!
The Big Orange Chorus, directed by Chris Loomis, won the chorus contest with a score of 860 points (71.7 avg)
Golden Voices, directed by Jason Fieler, placed second in the chorus contest with a score of 856 points (71.3 avg)
Orange Blossom Chorus directed by Sean Stork, placed third with a score of 855 points (71.3 avg)
Lance Lubin was awarded the 2025 Barbershopper of the Year award! Congratulations, Lance!
