The MIAMIANS, the outstanding South Florida Barbershop Chorus that was directed by the masterful Gene Cokeroft for a total of more than 40 years, presents “GENO, A Musical Tribute.”   As many of you know, Gene passed away in July of 2015.  Now, under the Direction of the very talented Alex Rubin, The MIAMIANS will grace their audiences with much of the Barbershop music that Gene Cokeroft arranged during his lifetime for The MIAMIANS and others.  February 18th, 2017, promises to be a delightful evening, whether one attends the 7:00 PM show or the 2:00 PM Matinee.  The guest quartet lineup cannot get any better than this: It includes none other than:

  1. The legendary SUNTONES, Gene’s former quartet, with his son Bruce filling in on Tenor.
  2. Vocal Spectrum, whose members had a very close mentor/mentee relationship with Gene.
  3. Signature, “#4 with a bullet” at the 2016 International Quartet Competition in Nashville.

And much more.  Please be sure to be on the lookout for when tickets go on sale.  This show will truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity.  It’s gonna go fast.

Ticket prices are : $25, $35 and a limited number at $50 which include backstage passes and reception with the guest quartets.
